The Orchid House

The room is large, well equipped, with two balconies on each side of the building. Good room service, kept clean. It is close to Patak Road, where you can find a lot of local Thai places. Also 7-Eleven is really close, should you be interested. The personnel is not always speak English, but you can use Google Translate in this case.

It is 900 m to the beach, but this is because all Kata is blocked by Med Hotel, which is huge and you have to go around it to get to the beach.

Location, staff, comfortable accommodation

Older, smaller quiet hotel tucked away between nice big luxury hotels. Very clean, very comfortable with a restaurant and bar on the first floor.

There is no elevator, but there are only 3 floors.

Little bit far from the beach

This hotel has wonderful helpful staff, set in a quiet location but walking distance to restaurants and beach Restaurant downstairs offers good affordable Thai and western food at a good price.

Nice and quiet location, off the main road and about 15 minute walk to the beach. Rooms were very large and spacious. We had a balcony and really enjoyed it.

A little dated, but everything was still very clean and functional.

The location was good, very close to Kata Walking Street where you can find lots of options for food and drink. The beach is not too far away as well. Friendly service from the male Manager.

The young lady at reception could not speak english and didn't understand my questions. But she did go and get the male Manager who was able to assist me. The bathrooms are small with a shower curtain that does not stop the entire floor getting wet if someone showers (not nice to walk on wet floor if you just need to use the toilet). Linens, pillows and bedding are quite old and could do with replacing.

The location is central but quiet, the pool is 1 minute away from the hotel (several hotels share the pool) I always got a lounger... friendly staff and helpful ? ok for a 3 star hotel ? can be recommended ?

Sometimes my room smelled like a toilet, which wasn't great ?? otherwise everything was ok......

I have been changing lots of accomodation during my trip in Thailand and this was by far the most cleaned accomodation. Super friendly staff and great location, very quite but close to the main road. If you stay on saturday you will enjoy the saturday night market very close to the building.

Nice hotel located in a quiet street but still close to all the restaurants, shops and other services, and only a short walking distance both to Kata and Karon beaches. The hotel does not have a swimming pool but the quests are allowed to use the pool of the bigger hotel across the road. The hotel restaurant serves good food.

The rooms are a bit outdated. The room balconies on the backside of the building are facing a fence, and there isn't really any view.

Loved our stay here, the front desk was so smiley and helpful! The room was clean and everything we needed. Love the refillable glass water bottles.

The hotel was great but probably wouldn’t stay in this area again, too many tourists!

i spent my phuket sandbox quarantine there and really enjoyed my stay. everone was super helpful and the restaurant is good and good value for money

the only issue was the air conditioner wasn’t that cold and would stop working for a while then came back again
